will the M1 Macbook Air can handle 4k video editing?
I make Youtube videos with my IPAD for people with Celiac Disease and show them what products to use as substitutes for flour and such. My IPAD is getting old and I need to upgrade to a DESKTOP. I DON” T want to spend a lot of money and don’t use the computer for much other than videos and such. Please help me with what I need. I don’t make any money on these videos but they are important I feel the videos are needed to help people with this life-altering disease to eat as they did before Celiac. Honestly for the holiday season, the touchbar pro is the best deal ive seen. I keep seeing the 8gb 512 model go to like 1000$ refurbed. The airs with that spec are 1200$ minimum. The 14 is the best deal if you want 16gb ram

Im pretty sure I got a dud in 2019, as student I always new the Airs were recommended. I was gifted the Pro, and it overheated constantly with video playing, multiple open tabs, etc.

Okay guys I am upgrading to MacBook pro and I got serious Questions. I have heard that We can intergrade Windows 10/11 in MacBook pro. Majorly I'll be using only for basic use such as Microsoft office, Canva, small editing apps/ some games but also might use for some High end engineering design Software like UGNx, SP3D, CANOe.
1. Will you recommend such integration ? is it advisable?
2. Can I download and run High end engineering design software's in MacBook Air/Pro? Just like how It is easily available for windows in any third party web site. (Main reason for Integration)
3. Does this integration possible only in Macs with Intel chip or can we get it done in M1 chip also?
4. What are the pros and cons of such integrated laptops.

If you're a software dev / audio producer… avoid the MacBook air at all cost. Been using it for almost a year and it cannot keep up I.e. running medium sized vs code projects. CPU is almost always at 70% -90% range. Ram is almost always about 70%..
Any DJs here? What's your takeaway? And/or what are your using from this list?

The only problem with the MacBook Air is that I hate the wedge design. To me it looks horrendous and I understand the usefulness of the wedge design but I’ve always hated it and now just about aesthetics….
